Our Mission

“Our goals at the Cooper Law Office are to provide every client individual attention regarding their case and to fight to obtain the most favorable outcome possible. Unlike other law offices, we focus strictly on helping injured workers through their workers compensation cases. Jeff Cooper has been working in this field for decades and will not hesitate to take the insurance company to court, but he also works hard to negotiate the best possible settlements for his clients when possible. Cooper Law Office prides itself on its communication with clients and has benefited from regular referrals made by former clients who felt their cases were handled professionally and promptly. Let Jeff and everyone at Cooper Law fight for you today.”

Jeff K. Cooper - Attorney at Law

Jeff K. Cooper

Jeff Cooper was born in Kansas and attended Pittsburg State University where he played football and obtained his undergraduate degree. He graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 1985, where he graduated with honors, and was admitted to the bar in the same year. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit, U.S. District Court, and District of Kansas. Jeff has been working for injured workers, exclusively in Kansas, for over thirty years. Jeff has also taught workers’ compensation as an adjunct law professor at Washburn School of Law.

While Jeff currently only represents injured workers, his past experience includes representing insurance companies, self-insured employers, and individual employers in workers compensation issues for over 30 years. Having extensive experience handling claims from all sides in the past provides a broad understanding of the process and how to maximize recovery for injured workers.

Jeff lives in Berryton, Kansas with his wife, Geni. His three children are grown, and he recently became a grandfather for the first time. Jeff is very active within his community, as well as at home, working on numerous projects for his family. He enjoys hunting, fishing and attending his sons' baseball games.
